The Townie life in Winchester and Frederick Co, VA falls both geographically and culturally somewhere between Country and Big City. Similarly we seek to balance our own lives through the enjoyment of friends, family, and town culture (such as fine local dining and all forms of local art and entertainment). If laughter truly is the best medicine, then we say 'take your two best friends and celebrate life until morning'.

To kick-off our first year together as Townies 4 A Cure we wanted to provide a small taste of the culture in Winchester, focusing mainly on the skills and talents of the team members. Items below will be featured in limited quantity at fund-raisers, but we'll gladly take orders for sold-out items. An on-line order form will be available for catalogue items in the near future.

Townies 4 A Cure "cancer" tees. White with printed image in blue and green on the left sleeve, available in adult sizes S, M, L, XL for both men/unisex and ladies tees. First run supplies are limited, but orders will be accepted. $10

ITEM 002: Scrabble® Tile Necklaces

Authentic Scrabble® tiles showcasing a variety of images on the 'blank' side, attached to appx. 16" faux-leather black cord with clasp. Images include cartoon animals, vintage ads, postmarks and stamps, and various geometric or floral designs. $5

ITEM 003: Winchester and Frederick Co, VA Photo Postcards

5.5 x 4.25" postcards featuring a variety of images from Frederick Co and Winchester. Printed on glossy heavy-weight coated paper and meets U.S.P.S regulations. $1

ITEM 004: Cat's Eye Earrings, PINKS

Earrings measure appx. 1". Hand-made using all sterling silver components and fiber-optic (glass) cat's eye beads. $10

ITEM 006: Colorful Jade and Swarovski Crystal Chandelier Earrings

Earrings measure appx. 1.5" on a diamond-frame chandelier. Hand-made using all 14K gold-plate components, faceted brown jade, brown quartz, and a coordinating mix of crystals in grey/yellow/light rose/clear. $20

ITEM 007: Green Calcite and Swarovski Crystal Dangle Earrings

Earrings measure appx. 2" on gold chains of three varying lengths with crystal cluster accents. Hand-made using all gold components (karat unknown), faceted green calcite, and a coordinating mix of crystals in tan/green/yellow. $20

ITEM 008: Green Pearl Coin and Swarovski Crystal Dangle Earrings

Earrings measure appx. 2.5" on chains of two varying lengths with crystal cluster accents. Hand-made using all sterling silver components, apple green coin-shaped pearls, and a coordinating mix of crystals in brown/dark rose/pink. $10

As with any fundraiser event, we will also be collecting orders for Relay Luminaries; these will be set up at the June 19 Relay event to honor those who have fought or are fighting cancer. Paper forms will be available at each of the Townies fund-raisers, or you can print out an online Luminaria form and mail it to the address listed by clicking the below link.
